Privacy & Cookies

Last updated 22 August 2026.

PuntaCana (https://puntacanaweb.net) is a travel publication. We collect as little personal data as possible. This page explains what we do collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

  • Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand which pages are read and how fast they load. These are privacy-friendly: they do not use cookies and do not track you across sites. Where Google Analytics is enabled, IP addresses are anonymised.
  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address with our newsletter provider solely to send you the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Contact. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request.
  • Server logs. Our host (Vercel) keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and debugging for a limited period.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Third-party services we link to (booking sites, maps, social networks) have their own policies once you leave our site. If we embed third-party content, it may set cookies in line with that provider's policy.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. The merchant may use a cookie to attribute a booking to us. We receive no personal data about you from this.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, or to object to its processing. Email hello@puntacanaweb.net and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and note the date above.
