Horseback Beach Riding Excursion
A slow ride through countryside and along the sand, usually at Macao or Uvero Alto.
Horseback rides are the calm alternative to buggies: an hour or two at walking pace through farmland and onto the beach, with a guide leading. No experience is needed and the horses are used to nervous riders.
Go early or late in the day — midday sun on an open beach is hard on riders and horses alike. Long trousers save your legs.
